ABOUT THE CENTER FOR PROBLEM GAMBLING

 The Center for Problem Gambling is a program of Family and Children's Service of the Capital Region, Inc. We have been funded by New York State since 1996 and committed to serve people in need in the greater Capital Region. 

We provide the following services:  

·       Assessments

·        Individual Counseling

·      Couples and Family Counseling

·        Gambling Recovery Groups

·        Significant Other's Support Group

·        Outreach and Education

·        Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

 All of our Master Level Therapists have significant experience working with problem gambling. Three of our therapists are Nationally Certified Gambling Counselors. 

We provide confidential treatment and serve all those in need regardless of their ability to pay. A working relationship with Gamblers Anonymous, the New York Council on Problem Gambling and service providers throughout the state is maintained.
